My favorite sculpture is Antonio Canova’s The Three Graces. It has excellent anatomical detail, though properly softened by the robustness of the figures. The hair flows naturally, too, and there is real personality in the faces and postures of the subjects.
The cloth looks so natural, it's easy to forget it's stone, especially the way it hangs down into the air on one side.
