Any etsy shop owners out there? How do I create a promo code to use upon checkout?

Etsy doesn't have a coupon code feature but Bonanzle and Alsoshop do.

I think that you can set up a coupon code with PayPal and give it to your customers. I tried this but found it to be quite a hassle.

Maybe you could create a special promo code that they could message you with when they buy something. One extra step, but I would do it if I was going to get a discount on something:). Also, if you just want to have a sale, you can do like other Etsy sellers and edit your page message and prices for a period of time.
