Are you worried about your Facebook privacy?

Every test I've done says I'm clear, but it doesn't stop me from stressing. Their privacy policy is longer than the Constitution, after all!
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I am not too worried. I didn't include much personal information, and quite frankly if someone really wants to steal my identity, perhaps they'd have better luck with it than I have had. I already have horrible credit, so they can't do much harm there. I don't have a home full of expensive paintings or a stash of cash anywhere, so really if you'd like my 10 year old tv, it's yours. I can certainly understand why some would be worried, but really I'm not. I only use FB to talk with my family back home. And there's nothing secret about " Kids are good, dogs are good, work is crap"..

No, I keep to the general rule if I wouldn't want it shared publicly, not to share it. It is the internet and with any site you should expect that there is a chance anything you say or post will be made public or accessed by other people.

I wasn't worried much until a friend of mine came across this website http://www.spokeo.com/ It's an online phone book that has pictures that you have posted on Facebook, credit score, profession, home value income, number of children, age,..... They gather all the information from places like Facebook and there you are and all your info for anyone to see. Remove yourself by the Privacy button on the bottom right on their website. I personally checked it out and just removed my listing.

I don't. My Facebook password is unique to Facebook, and there is no information on there that is really private. I set my profile to friends only, but only because I don't want my posts visible. It doesn't say where I work, where I went to school, or even what my hobbies are. If someone got access to it who wasn't supposed to, the most annoying thing they could do would be to spam my friends, who hopefully would realize it was spam and delete it.

Anything online could be made public.
