Are there special antiretroviral drugs for children leaving with HIV/ AIDS?
Today been the hepatitis awareness day, I overheard a discussion between two women. They were talking about the HIV/ AIDS antiretroviral drugs and what the side effect has been on people with low nutritional habits. This made me wonder why most people only talk about older people living with HIV/ AIDS, when there are over a million children infected in the whole world. Are there special antiretroviral drugs for children leaving with HIV? Or are they using the same drugs for both adults and children? Are the drugs not too ‘’strong ‘’ for their system?
