Are there any famous people who are ambidextrous and are not athletes?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Nearly half of the people on these lists are also on lists of famous left-handers:

http://www.indiana.edu/~primate/left.html
http://www.buzzle.com/articles/famous-left-handed-people.html

and there are a lot more lists of lefties than of ambis (?). Of the people listed in the answers so far but *not* on the lists of lefties, the following are not athletes:

Lord Baden-Powell
Shigeru Miyamoto
Michael Angelo Batio
James Woods
John Roberts
Topher Grace
Noel Gallagher (noted as "?" on lefties list)

True ambidexterity (being able to use either hand equally well for all activities) is extremely rare, and most "ambidextrous" people are either right- or left-handed but prefer to use different hands for different activities. Ambidexterity in specific activities can also be learned, a talent which is especially useful in sports.

Paul McCartney is LEFT-HANDED, not ambidextrous. His former bandmate Ringo Starr was ambidextrous.
