Actually, there are ways to overcome phobias. I personally haven’t tried consulting a psychiatrist because I think I am in full control of myself yet and I believe I still can live my life to the fullest without having to like and love all things. And since this is a disorder, I believe that if one’s daily activities have been interfered already by his phobias then I think he should seek professional help. I don’t agree much on medications as I think they only provide temporary relief, it should be professional’s guidance and help that should be of great help in eliminating those abnormal fears. Please note though that there are certain phobias that are non-psychological like those caused by physical ailments i.e. photophobia.
