I would say the ones that are good enough to pay for would be the ones you would use, otherwise no matter how good an app is, it's not worth paying for.
If you like poker, you might like the Texas Hold'em game. If you're into soccer, then Real Soccer 2009 might be worth the $6. If you like Mario type games, Rolando is $10, and it's a super fun game to play!

What iPod touch apps are good enough to pay for?
I got an iPod touch for Christmas and have really enjoyed exploring the free applications. I have a few dollars of iTunes store credit, so what non-free apps are the best in overall quality?
