i've got a macbook pro from late 06/early 07, the first of the core2duo batch - do i have the wrong firmware?

i was reading about a firmware update that went out in april of 08 for intel core2duo macbook pros - the last one that i saw was a 1.4 update which leaves my firmware as: MBP22.00A5.B07

...but i saw this:
http://support.apple.com/downloads/MacBook_Pro_EFI_Firmware_Update_1_5_1

...but it looks like "software update" never caught i!! what gives? the last one i can remember is this one:
http://support.apple.com/downloads/MacBook_Pro_EFI_Firmware_Update_1_4 (which is supposed to return the number i've ref'd above from system profiler in boot rom version)

did "software update" completely miss this, or do i simply not need it? my system seems to be running just fine (knock on wood)

____EDIT____
mahalo does NOT let me answer my own question and i found the answer at:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1237 (which is right, i've got hte 15 inch so the 1.5.1 was only for 17 inch, duh...)

thanks in advance...feel free to answer, not sure what will happen now since i've already answered it!

It could be your model just doesn't need it. Just to be sure, try running the 1.5.1 firmware updater. If you don't need the update the updater will tell you. At least it did in my case. However, if everything is working fine, I would just stick to golder rule "If It's Not Broken - Don't Fix It" :)

Yup, I concur. It's nice to be "up to date", but if you're not having any problems, don't panic. :)
