Quick Answer: Not as good as it should.
It works perfectly as an operating system, but there is a considerable amount of lag when opening applications. If you use it as your home theater PC then it is a disaster as FrontRow is horribly slow.
The strange thing is that Snow Leopard works perfectly on a old White MacBook and made it run faster.

How does Snow Leopard perform on a 32 bit Mac Mini?
I have an older core duo (32 bit only) Mac Mini (upgraded to 2GB of RAM). Can someone give me first hand experience how Snow Leopard runs compared to Leopard? Please include in your answer how much RAM you have as that can make quite a bit of difference.

It should run fine, but snow leopard flies on 64 bit macs. Its rewritten. However you will see the benefit of the lower RAM usage and less storage used. You have plenty of RAM for snow leopard. I would say your mini is ready. It runs well on all intel macs. Just dont push it with graphics intensive programs, as it has the Intel GMA950. Again, keep in mind that Snow Leopard is lighter than Leopard and Tiger. It is also 100% Intel native.

Could you try running FrontRow to see if you notice any problems there like tchachra is seeing with the mini? The original MacBook and the Mini have very similar hardware so I wonder what the problem could be.
