Anyone recommend me a good thumb drive style mp3 player? What about the iRiver T5?

I don't mind the iriver products, I have had a few (an H10 a few years back for example) that I really liked. I, however, have found that the little joystick thing to be a major weakness and can break, rendering the whole unit useless.
(itunes sucks) I found that winamp can send mp3s directly to any device (including ipod), almost instantaneously, it's virtually drag and drop and comes with no BS synicing rules. Things can get a little disorganized but I use an ipod nano for the gym and the drag, drop and play simplicity rules.
So ipod +winamp (i am sure there are others) = easy music listening.
