Anyone know the name of Irish author who wrote book of animal short stories? (Possibly an adult book?) Read years ago, trying to remember.

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Liam O´Flaherty (1896-1984) an irish novelist who´s early short story pieces focused on animals and the rural life on Ireland, as a metaphor of the human condition. Some of his short stories are "The Cow´s Death", "The Wave", "The Blackbird", "Two Dogs", "The Rockfish" and "The Hawk".

Many of this short stories were published by Jonahtan Cape on the 1937 edition of "The Short Stories of Liam O'Flaherty".
