Anyone know how to delete podcasts matching a certain criteria from iTunes automatically.

Anyone know how to delete podcasts matching a certain criteria from iTunes automatically.

For instance if you are subscribed to Radio Leo ( laporte ) and you want to have it delete all the "Daily Giz Wiz" podcasts.

I have my iTunes scheduled to wake up every morning at 4 AM so it updates all my podcasts, would be nice to have it remove the ones I don't want at the same time.
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

To the best of my knowledge you cannot do this using just iTunes. I have often thought of looking into something like Yahoo Pipes, where you'd pipe the podcast feed through Pipes, set up the filter you describe, and then tell iTunes to subscribe to that instead. However, I've never done it so I can't go into detail of the pros and cons. But it's certainly a problem that all podcast listeners have, you're not alone.

I know that you cannot do it in iTunes itself. It simply isn't possible. You may be able to do it using an online service, like the previous person said, though.
