Anyone know a good podcast that broadcasts readings of short stories?

I've already subscribed to The New Yorker Fiction podcast
Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I've got some good genre fiction podcasts for you.

Escape Pod - science fiction short stories written by established and up-and-coming authors. Quite a variety, some funny, some sad, some scary. Releases almost every single week:
http://escapepod.org/

Podcastle - Fantasy flavored stories.

Pseudopod - Horror fiction. Very disturbing. You go first.
http://pseudopod.org/

For longer fiction, Podiobooks is a good place to go. There are *some* shorter works on here, but most are longer works.

Enjoy!

There are a legion of good short fiction podcasts out there. It depends on what you like.

The Escape Artists have 3 separate podcasts, one for Sci-Fi called "Escape Pod", one for Fantasy called "Podcastle", and one for Horror called "Pseudopod".

"The Drabblecast" is another good one if you like quirky stuff.

For classic stories, try "The Classic Tales Podcast".

(All of these are available through iTunes, or by searching the titles in Google)

If you want serial work, i.e. podcast novels, head over to www.podiobooks.com
