Anyone have a personal review of the PS3 game Heavy Rain?

I played a Playstation 2 game called Indigo Prophecy and I really really loved playing that game. I have been searching from the corner of my eye for a PS3 game that is similar to IP and was wondering if Heavy Rain might be that sort of game. Bonus if you have been using the Playstation Move to play Heavy Rain and can tell me about how that is working out for you. Thanks :)

I can't say I've played Heavy Rain with the Playstation Move, but I can tell you what I thought of the game in general. I think the biggest thing going for Heavy Rain is it's unique gameplay. In fact, it's more of an interactive movie then it is a game, but it's done gracefully. Having played Indigo Prophecy, you're already familiar with it. All the simple and intricate little swivels of the joy stick and button combinations always feel satisfying. You can tell they took the time to really make the control-scheme correspond with the severity of the story. I found the story itself pretty thrilling and just complex enough to get that good buzz of intrigue going. Some of the story elements, like searching for clues or flirting with people for answers, is done in a really inventive way, which I won't spoil here. Also, fantastic string score for the game. Really gives you that modern noir tone.

I think the only downside for me was that once you play the game, there's not much replay value. You know what happens and thus the excitement of playing is noticeably reduced on repeated plays. They do offer a morality system in the game where you can choose to be cruel or kind (or both) but you may have to wait awhile after you beat it the first time to try the alternate type of personality.

I belive that i quite enjoyed heavy rain as i felt connected towards the game as when we had fought my heart was pounding as i had just been involved in the fight and finding myself within on how creative other people can be by the trails and the entire game play can be based on realistic actions. To be honest this game reminds me of the Saw Movies and games as being a killer and doing trails but thats my opinion, feel free to disagree. All in all i enjoyed the game and its quiet amazing on how everything you do relates on how the game will end. :)
