Any idea why the gov't would be building these FEMA camps?

Remember when Bush was going to declare martial law and become dictator for life?
You'll be fine.

M$I find it frustrating that when they prepare for an emergency the conspiracy theorists have a field day. When an actual emergency happens, the government is criticized for not being prepared. I assume that the reason we are not filled in on the details has something to do with national security. They are dealing with situations and scenarios that most of us, as we go about our everyday lives, do not care to think about. I trust they are doing the best they can.
In case of an emergency I, for one, will be glad they were prepared.

M$Houston set up showers, and catering to feed the people that were bussed. In the end, Houston had a mess to clean up. Some of the evacuees did some major damage to the building that they opened up. I heard about urine and feces on the floor, major vandelism.
There were rumors of killings, rape, etc but I don't know how much of that is true.
The point is that these 'camps' will likely serve as a place to put evacuees from disaster.

M$There is nothing in this answer that reflects "personal experience," as indicated by your source.
I voted NBA. Facts, rather than speculation, would answer this question more effectively.
There are no such camps or preparations. The whole thing is fabricated. That's why the question does not list a source.
Its FEMA's job to be prepared for emergencies so i am glad that they are running these types of what if scenerios.

Some of the videos (all faked or mislabeled) date from 1995. This trash just keeps circulating, like the notorious cookie/cake recipe from Mrs Fields etc. There are always fools who believe it and pass it on.
I'm not so much worried about it as much as being curious.
