Any ballpark numbers on how many iPads have been returned so far?
Number of devices returned, or percentage of devices returned.
Extra brownie points for a breakdown of why they were returned, e.g. due to defects, due to users not liking them, due to misunderstandings before buying.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I don't know any specific numbers but I do know of a handful of people who have taken theirs back, including Jeff Jarvis of http://www.buzzmachine.com/ and TWiG(This Week in Google)

I can't remember.... have you got one now?
There are a couple, mostly just people who wanted to try it out or got sucked into the hype. I would guess that 99% of the people who bought it are either iPhone owners and/or Apple users. With maybe 1-5% of that being people who bought it for an older relative(parent or grandparent) who probably won't return it because it was a gift.
The "early adopter's tax" made me chuckle.
Sounds like it is quite a small number of returners from what you say?
