"Vulval" and "Clitoric" are words that describe female genitalia.

I think in the Da Vinci code, the two symbols were a triangle with the pointy end up for the phallus, and a triangle with the pointy end down for the chalice.

Actually, there is no opposite of phallus, as it is an androgynous term:

phal·lus (fls)

1 b. The sexually undifferentiated tissue in an embryo that becomes the penis or clitoris.

Touche :)

So what word could we use to describe something that is the opposite of long and cylindrical objects sometimes equated with the male member?

If you are referring specifically to genitalia, I would agree, vulval would seem appropriate.

Alternatively, 'gynaecoid' (or 'gynecoid') is used to describe something with a typically female shape, like a gynaecoid pelvis, for example (a pelvis more typical of a woman, which is wider to permit passage of the fetus during childbirth)

Gynaecoid seems to be an appropriate word as well. But it doesn't have the same ring to it as the word phallus or phallic. It is almost like calling breasts mammaries or calling a yoni a vagina.
