ANNOUNCEMENT: PAYPAL PAYMENTS will go out tomorrow
If, by the end of business tomorrow, you have still not received your Mahalo Dollar cash-out, please let me know and I will look into your case specifically.
Thanks, everyone, for your patience and understanding. In the future, we will do our best to ensure that all payments go out as scheduled on the 15th or the next immediate business day.

M$After working so many years on the Internets I've learned that there are so many factors that can hold up the flow of cash to simply be patient. I warn of this in the page How Mahalo Payments Work, a must read for anybody confused or just getting started with the Mahalo payment process.

M$I agree that people need to just be patient. I've worked with several different online sites, and the typical rule was that you would receive payment within 5 business days of the processing date (some of them even took longer than that).
Mahalo gets cut a lot of slack because the users have a lot of goodwill towards it for other reasons.
But I do think fifteen days from request to payout is enough time to get it done right, and get it done on time.
If Mahalo can't do it consistently, maybe it needs some business process redesign. Esp as there are now people here earning so much that they might be counting on the money to make the rent or bill payments.
thanks Jeff!
all the best,
K

M$Not many people buy stuff from Amazon? Are you kidding ,it's the world's biggest online retailer, it does billions of dollars of sales.
Not many people buy stuff from Amazon and it could get complicated.
Okay, I meant 'I' don't buy stuff from there. When I say 'everyone' I'm usually just referring to myself. :D
I like getting the cash - then I can use it for whatever I want, and not just limited to Amazon.
I'm still hoping they do it someday (before I want to cash out).
@skyvan , Thank you for that, I was going to but in , but I was pre occupied at the time.
Yes many people do buy stuff from amazon.
And I hope other means of payment do come in the future.
Ones that will both benefit mahalo as well as the medium.

M$I really wasn't that preoccupied about the payments. I knew Mahalo would send payments soon. unlike some make money sites that really stress you with payments. I know how paypal works, they slow things down for everyone. Perhaps, Alertpay would be considered? Or Liberty Reserve. Right now, I don't think Liberty Reserve charges anything.

M$soon as it hits your paypal, its yours to do with as you please!
you can also use the balance immediately for any online purchases that use paypal. you only have the 2-3 day wait if you request a transfer to your checking account.
The Paypal debit card gives instant access. ;-)
My experience with PayPal is that it takes 2-3 business days to reach your bank account. So I requested a PayPal Mastercard through the PayPal site. Now I just use the card for whatever I want to buy and don't have to worry about waiting for a transfer. The other nice feature about that card is that if you spend more than what's in your PayPal account, then it just automatically transfer that amount from your bank account - without any fees. It's been very convenient for me.

Excellent, let's go. But please don't throw my choco tacos, they tend to splat. When I grab the Twinkies, those you can throw. I'll hold the basket!
