Announcement: Gadget Barnraising!!! Create some gadget pages, win some prizes, earn M$$$!
Why am I so excited? Well, first because I think that Gadget related products and companies could make the people who manage them a SIGNIFICANT amount of money. Not only is Christmas just around the corner (gadget searches significantly increase as people search for presents), but the Consumer Electronics Show in January makes gadgets newsworthy. Both of these things mean that if we create some really great gadget pages that the people who participate in this contest could make a good number of Mahalo Dollars in the next couple of months!
The people who compose the best gadget pages will be invited to join the Gadget Team. This small group of people will be given the opportunity to create gadget pages as new products are announced and released. I'll be closely helping this group and will be working to ensure that they make as many M$'s possible.
To participate, all anyone has to do is start claiming Tasks labeled "GADGET BARNRAISING".
PRIZES!!!!!
Over M$200 can be won!!!
(That's awesome - thanks Mahalo!)
In addition to automatically managing every valuable gadget page that you create in this barn raising, you can win the following:
First Place: M$60 plus a Mahalo Hat
Second Place: M$50
Third Place: M$30
5 other prizes of M$10 will be awarded RANDOMLY.
Every time you complete a task, your name will be written down on a piece of paper. I will draw the winner live on camera when all 200 tasks are complete. The more tasks you complete, the better your chances are, but EVERYONE who helps us out has a chance at a prize.
NOTES:
Once accepted, each accepted task earns M$3. If you complete 10 tasks, that's M$30! This is really the easiest way to quickly earn money here on Mahalo.
Remember that after your barnraising task is accepted, you are automatically given the page to manage and make money from.
You'll only have 24 hours to complete each task after you claim it!
Only outstanding content will be accepted. We need all of these pages to be accurate, unique (no plagiarism) and interesting. If your submission isn't great, it won't be accepted. This is very important.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

M$Oh good, thanks Rob! I'm feeling that hat on my head already ;)
I'll help you out, cmajaski!
Send me, @robbrown ANY questions that you have (even a small one that you think might be silly) and I'll answer! If the answer needs a lengthy or complicated answer, I'll even make you a video to show you exactly what you need to know.
Barnraisings are easy after you complete a couple of pages. Anyone who has won a barnraising (I won the first one!) will tell you that the first few tasks you complete take a bit of time but then like magic, things get fast and super easy.
Send me a question and I'll answer!
