I know @albanian is going to punch me for this one, but I'm a Budweiser guy! My friends will bring over all kinds of strange brews that literally make me yearn for a clean smooth beer that's refreshing and tasty.
That's not to say I don't enjoy a good bock, stout or red when I'm in the mood, but right now, in Texas (as I look at the current temp) it reads 105. In the shade.
A guiness is NOT going to taste right in that heat!!
Nor is a bottle of red (although it's quite tastey with a big steak!) I'll usually have a glass of wine with dinner white or red depending on the dish of course).
Truth be told, I like and enjoy both, but when I go to the bar, I order a Bud first.
