Get your bottle of gin and vermouth out. Get a shaker with ice and a cocktail glass.
In your cocktail glass, mix in 6cl (6 parts of gin), and 1cl (1 part), dry vermouth. Pour it into the shaker with ice, and shake well.
Pour it back from the shaker, into the glass. Stir it, and then garnish it with a silverskin onion peel.
For a dirty martini, Follow steps one to three, except that olive brine is used to replace the vermouth, or combined with it. Garnish this with an olive.

No matter what kind of Martini you are making whether it be a Cosmopolitan, Dirty, Candy Apple, Green Apple, Original Vodka, or Original Gin etc..... they are all prepared the same way. They are suppose to be 3oz of liquor in total with enhancements of juice usually only totally of around 1oz. They are shaken over ice in a Martini shaker (or regular glass is shaker not available) the drink then should be strained into a martini glass, using a martini strainer or putting a glass over the other glass not allowing any ice to get into the drink. The Glass should be chilled u can do this by putting ice and cold water in the glass for the amount of time that it takes you to prepare the rest of the drink!
