Flying car timeline.

I'm looking for a flying car time line that includes 10-20 major moments in the history of flying cars. Adding images and YouTube videos increases your chances of winning the big $25 prize!

All major moments in the flying car progress include me not getting one, but here are some highlights that come to mind.

1917: The First designed Flying car - The Curtis Autoplane, designed by Glenn Curtis

1937: Waldo Waterman designed the Arrowbile "it was capable of flying at speeds of about 110 miles per hour, and driving at about 55" - But apparently there wasn't enough interest, and only a couple were built.

1946: Robert Fulton designed the "Airphibian" which was the first flying car to be approved by the Civil Aeronautics Administration, which later became the FAA.

1947: The Convair Car, another early car with detachable plane parts.

1968: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

1970: The Mouton Taylor Aero became the 2nd (and last) flying car to get FAA approval, although they are still around and still building new concepts.

1974: The man with the Golden Gun escapes via Flying Car - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3VqtPr3Q4U

2002: Kevin Smith Short Film - The Flying Car

2008: And if you consider the Moller a "Flying Car" you can own one for less then a Million bucks, but of course they are already asking if they are sustainable.

Just a Couple notes.. After the 2008 entry it looks like the plane attached below is the Moller car, but it's not, it was just a photo I added in the (add photos) section, perhaps to end this confusion there should be a line break or when we add photos/videos using that option there could be a title/description field which would display a title/description above the additional photos/videos

The flying car has been a dream for more than 100 years. It is still possible that the flying will be available in our life times; however, with government legislation, it is highly unlikely.

With today's technology, we just see it within the next 20 years.
