I read somewhere that Howard Stern was influenced by Steve Dahl.

According to his movie Private Parts, his biggest influences very early in his career were likely his father, who was a radio and record producer and before they were bitter rivals, Don Imus. He is also a huge fan of The Three Stooges, which likely influenced his comedic spin.
