There's no definitive answer, but the creator likes to imagine that the character's named Julian Bean. Or so Wikipedia says. However, there are inconsistencies within various "Mr. Bean" shows that make that a bit odd. In some, he's "Mr. Bean," including on his passport. In others, he's named "Rowan Bean."

So, Mr. Bean's first name is one of those fun, unsure things that fans can speculate about along with the show's creator. It's much like playing the "Where is the Simpson family from, anyway?" game when watching earlier episodes of "The Simpsons," I think.
