I have just recently gotten hooked on "NCIS". I am trying to figure out if the writers ever mentioned the type of cancer Jenny Shephard, the former director, was suppose to have had.

I have heardDucky mention to Gibbs that she was dying and that it would have been a slow and painful death. I really miss her on that show.

According to the NCIS Database it states.
