F/X - loved that movie. It was super fun about the special effects business and how things are not always as they appear... Mystery, intigue, suspense and explosions all pre-cgi. It was great.
Legal Eagles. Debra Winger, Daryl Hannah, Robert Redford and Brian Denney? what a cast - it seemed like it was a total mismatch - but again it was a pretty fun movie.
He was also in the Man from Snowy River 2 and I loved that movie.

The movie is based on how one persistent cop finally captured John Wayne Gacy, but what really makes it stand out from the crowd is Dennehy's outstanding portrayal of Gacy. He has immense charm, but here he shows he can turn on a dime and instantly convert it into stomach-churning menace.
There is one scene in which Dennehy shows Gacy's dark side starting to come out at an inappropriate moment, and then catching himself -- it is one of the finest pieces of acting I have ever seen anywhere. The look of repressed, murderous lust appearing on his face and then being put back in the box is something I'll never forget. Watch it; you'll enjoy it a lot!

Undoubtedly, it would have to be 92's 'To Catch A Killer', where he stars as notorious murderer John Wayne Gacy. Dennehy is truly, truly FRIGHTENING in the main part and you can just sense the evil inside him.The movie is based on how one persistent cop finally captured John Wayne Gacy, but what really makes it stand out from the crowd is Dennehy's outstanding portrayal of Gacy. He has immense charm, but here he shows he can turn on a dime and instantly convert it into stomach-churning menace.
