Will Neil Patrick Harris play The Flash?

Screenrant published the rumor that NPH may play the comic book character The Flash. Anyone have confirmation?

It may be so! Ryan Reynolds was originally cast in the role, but may not be able to do the film because of his role on Wolverine Movie.

Weird, I just can't picture little Doogie Howser as any kind of superhero. That's just not.. Super.
