Wow, you're right! I haven't seen the International yet, but it sounds like they've taken on the same overall them as Quantum -- corrupt bankers making inside dirty deals to keep the poor poorer and the rich richer. And then the two spies (a male and female) criss-cross the globe uncovering the truth and trying to take the banker bad guys down.
I actually liked Quantum, unlike a lot of people. I did think it was pretty hard to follow and when a plot point got too convoluted they would just distract us with a crazy car chase or something. But overall it was enjoyable, and I've heard that the International was a little TOO plot-heavy and didn't have enough thrills.
So maybe the filmmakers should collaborate for their next spy thriller so we get the best of both worlds?

Can you name common points between The International and Quantum of Solace?
The International is newly released but several points in its story make it very similar to Quantum of Solace, the new James Bond with Daniel Craig. Yet it seems that The International is better because action is not the center point, as it was with Quantum of Solace.
