He leaves himself open for about four seconds after each of the pink ray attacks, which is the prime time to get your big hits in. The missals he shoots will fizzle out if you just keep away from them for a couple seconds, and son't go rushing in at him. Or you can just shoot them and zoom in on him to attack, just make sure the missals are taking care of first. Strife left and right to avoid the pink bullet things as well. The fight's all about time management and getting into a rhythm, so don't get frustrated if it takes you a couple tries.
