It all depends on what are your career goals or how much training you want. If you want a big high power program look at Julliard or NYU. These are big programs and you will get training from the best and brightest teachers in the nation. I know several of the teacher at Julliard and they are very personable and are great at what they do. Both of these are great undergraduate programs. Yale has a good graduate program in acting and have great connections or network for there graduates to help get them work. If you are looking to act in film i cant help except to find a school with a good film school with a great directing program. Those connections will be as important as any acting class. Now for full disclosure i teach design in a theater program at SUNY-Fredonia and would recommend our program if you are looking for a smaller program for more one on one attention.
