about Leopard Seal...how does it survive in antarctic weather

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Leopard Seals feast on penguins, fish and baby seals to keep blubber on. When a leopard seal is born, it drinks milk from it's mother for only about a month. It is very high in fat and helps the seal put on it's layer of blubber very fast. It is this layer of blubber than insulates the seal from the cold arctic weather.
