is it okay to use plums that haven't fully ripened for plum jam
I have a plum tree but because we've had a dry summer some of my plums are falling off the tree and they aren't ready to eat. The plums that are on the ground are just turning read and most of them are firm but not hard. They're a bit tart to the taste.
