The entire City of London and the entire country will be host to the different games. So don’t expect to stay in one spot. The great thing about having the games there is the mass pubic transit system. If you do take a rented car into the city, expect to pay a privilege tax. With the streets being narrow the city has rules against massive amounts of traffic. So take advantage of the public transportation system.
