If you already have the page you can do as @krystyne20 says, but watch the page when updates to the site are made. HTML code does not always work in new updates.
But during a task, all you can do is include it in a box you have, or in the case of a how to, add a step, then put this info:
Featured Object:
Title:
Image URL:
Description:
and put the appropriate information for each line item. The QC'er can then create the featured object for you.
If it belongs with a particular step and you don't want the comment box, include the code @krystyne20 gave you in the appropriate spot within the text of that step. (Again, watch the page after updates... when mahalo 2.0 came out every single how to page had to be updated for formatting issues.)
I recommend the Featured Object route, then just move it to where you want it when the task is approved.
And you add a video the same way if the box is not there... some tasks didn't include the box for the featured video that is required on all how to's.
hope that helps!

Step-2: Copy the actual url of the image that ends with .jpg or .gif extension. If you can't find the actual url that ends with .jpg or .gif (like in picasa web albums), right click the image and go to properties, where you can find the actual url.
Step-3: Paste the url at the place where you want to add image.
Thats it.

• I actually didn't get an answer before submitting the task so I did imgurl/img and either that worked or the QC figured out what I was intending and fixed it lol
Great answer though, this was the information I was looking for. :)

Step-1: Upload the image to a website like Flickr or Photobucket. Step-2: Copy the actual url of the image that ends with .jpg or .gif extension. If you can't find the actual url that ends with .jpg or .gif (like in picasa web albums), right click the image and go to properties, where you can find the actual url.

If you want to add an image to a "text" box, instead of as a Featured Object, you just have to paste in the URL in between this code (as shown in the image below). Alternatively, if you're using Flickr, you can just copy the HTML code, and paste that directly into a text box to insert the image without having to add any additional code.
