Meet the Mahalolian of the Week: Hillo!
Were having so much fun meeting the Mahaloians of the Week, we couldn't wait 7 days. This week we meet @hillo be sure to say hello!

Q: Where are you from and where are you now?
A: I'm from the New England area and live here still, although I have been fortunate to have traveled quite a bit throughout my life - for work and for pleasure.
Q: How did you hear about Mahalo Answers?
A: I honestly do not remember exactly how I ended up here - my memory has never been one of my strengths. I research for my own purposes and for friends, so it is very possible that during a search I stumbled upon MA and here I am.
Q: What do you enjoy the most about Mahalo Answers?
A: There are a number of things that keep me here - logging in every day.
- Contributing to real questions from real people.
- Learning and Laughing at the responses from other members.
- Earning points, earn a few MA dollars and 'tips' and to (slowly) move up the belt ranks.
- Having FUN.
Q: What feature can't you wait for?
A: I'm not really a 'techie' but I'd say that being able to keep a favorite sort on incoming questions could be great - so any new question of your preferred topic(s) would automatically pop to the top of the front page - perhaps too much to ask... :) I know we've already got lots of ways to drill down to questions on our own, but you asked, so...
Q: Where is the most-interesting place you've ever been?
A: Under the ocean - Scuba diving! Now that's a different perspective on the world as you know it.
Q: Favorite movie, TV show, band and book?
Movie: It's a tie - Terminator, Sound of Music
TV Show: "Chuck"
Band: Keb' Mo'
Book: Pippi Longstocking (Lindgren)
Q: Do you have any pets?
A: Well Yes. For those of you who may have seen some of my responses here on MA, I tend to answer pet questions, particularly dog questions. We have two dogs right now. Both 'adopted'. One from a family that was going to return the puppy to the breeder. One is a retired racing Greyhound. I'm a huge advocate for rescue and adoption efforts locally and nationally.
Q: What is your favourite type of questions to answer?
A: Photography, Education, Travel, Pets, Biology, Sociology
Q: What avatars do you look forward to seeing when you click on a question? Who are your favourite Mahaloians?
A: Lately I'm enjoying seeing lots of new avatars - that's great - welcome new members all :)
While I don't usually like to play favourites (or favorites, depending on which side of the pond you're on), I do enjoy seeing and reading @bbrookin, @demanda, @nushka, @dumblonde, @arjo, @mrnemo, @bunnyphuphu and many more and I hope @orange can take the mask off soon :)
Q: If you could give one piece of advice to a new Mahalo Answers user who wants to be as successful as you, what would that be?
A: My advice would be to dip your toe in first and then go for it and have fun. Read the questions and responses of the many members here at MA to get the idea of what the community is all about. You'll find that this is a place where a little more time and effort put into your answer goes a long way towards the Mahalo spirit.

Hey hillo, great to hear about you. Sorry to hear that you are from the New England area....well, unless your a Yankees fan :) I have a pet question that I will have to shoot your way sometime.
By the way, mask will be coming off soon, boy does the media know how to make a mountain out of a mole hill. Was thinking about actually revealing who the person under the orange is...but then I just wouldn't be orange anymore.

thanks @bunnyphuphu, sorry that if my Greyhound met you in person and you decided to run away you might not live to tell...nothing personal just a thousand years of sight hound prey drive...that 'Darwin thing' again :) Cute pink number on the little dog, hope he got a tip for that.
