Meet the Mahaloian of the Week, Easyeboy!
Time to honor the all time top Mahaloian, will his point totals ever be overtaken? Only time will tell, lets meet @easyeboy

Q: Where are you from and where are you now?
I'm originally from Cleveland, Ohio (at least that's where I grew up), and now live in New York City.
Q: How did you hear about Mahalo?
I've known about Mahalo since it was first introduce in 2007 or even before it was introduced, yet I wasn't an early adopter of Mahalo in the very beginning. I found it interesting, yet it was somewhat overwhelming. Being the search engine fan I am, and keeping up to date with new technologies and ideas in search. I think I probably first saw the Mahalo logo on AltSearchEngines here: http://bit.ly/aFla5 or possibly read about it in a popular tech blog. I know for sure that I was somewhat intrigued by what Mahalo has done, as I have similar ideas to annotate the Web just like Mahalo. I heard about Mahalo Answers in December 2008, and read about it in Wired Epicenter.
Q: What is your favourite type of questions to answer?
Oh, I could go on and on about this one. The real answer is that it depends. When I'm in the answering mood to answer or research, I'll answer the more time consuming or thought provoking questions, yet when I'm not in the answering mood I prefer the easy to answer questions that can be answered with a simple fact. My favorite questions are the ones that challenge me, and require a small amount of research. I would like to call these the fact and figure questions. I'm good at researching, finding, and collecting facts, so finding facts, or information on anything related to technology, cars, or anything business related is of interest. Now, sometimes I'll find a question interesting, ponder answering it, but I would rather see someone else answer the question first. I say this simply because I know if I answer it first, I'm open to not always put the thought into it that should be put into answering it.
Q: What feature can't you wait for?
Haha, this question is really racking my mind. There are several features I can't wait for, but then again those are the ones I don't always want to talk about, simply because I'd rather talk to Jason about them or someone at Mahalo about future partnership opportunities... Since I'm looking forward to launching a social networking site, I would say I can't wait to see a way that my site would integrate with Mahalo in some capacity. This is my self-fulfilling prophecy, "I will figure out a way to partner with Mahalo" someday or some way. That's the feature I want to see, and it's racking my mind because I have so many great ideas how this can be accomplished in the future. People thought Albert Einstein was crazy for his ideas, so I just don't want people to think the same about me, but it's inevitable they already do. Besides bookmarking questions, if I told you some of my really big ideas for Mahalo Answers, you might just think I'm crazy! I'd rather talk about them at the TED Conference someday, but it's not that easy to get into the conference to talk. I have patents pending on a few big ideas!
Also, another feature, an easy way to webcam an answer on the spot without going to another video site would be neat...
Q: Do you remember how it was for you to start using Mahalo Answers? How it is different now?
Yes, I remember the beginning, the days having to deal with some annoying downtimes to some days when I had to go up against some tough competitors on Mahalo Answers, to the point I'd answer questions and not always get the "best answer," even though I put forth the effort. What I realized it became hard to always get the best answer, and as I continued I got better at it. Things have gotten better on the technical end at Mahalo Answers, and not that it's gotten any easier, I believe it's gotten more competitive to answer questions.
Q: Where is the most-interesting place you've ever been?
Literally or imaginatively? I would say in real life, Amsterdam or Walt Disney World, yet I would also say imaginatively I have been some pretty fun places as well.
Q: Favorite movie, TV show, band and book?
Tough question, one I'd like not to answer as I have so many favorites at times! Movie Click with Adam Sandler, but might have to say Back to the Future as well, as there are so many parallels. TV show, I'd say The Oprah Winfrey Show if you count talk shows. Band would be Bon Jovi, considering I've seen them live the most, but I have a lot of favorites. Book, would have to be the Guinness World Records.
Q: What avatars do you look forward to seeing when you click on a question? Who are your favourite Mahaloians?
Don't like to play favorites, but I always like seeing @DrMatt, just something about his name intrigues me. Others are @JasonCalacanis, you've got to give credit to the guy behind this great site. I also like seeing @JeffHoard, couldn't leave you out.
Q: What do you enjoy the most about Mahalo?
I would say that it's more multimedia driven than any site out there in this information space. You don't really get the complete interactivity elsewhere like you do at Mahalo. The fact that I can embed a video right here, is just great, even though I'm not going to do it!
Q: If you could give one piece of advice to a new Mahalo Answers user, what would that be?
Don't quit, you won't get the best answer all the time, but don't give up, as you'll get the hang of it and once you start to get the best answer, you'll be glad you stuck it out!
