Ken Lewis damaged the company's brand by trying to acquire too many companies. As a result, Bank of America has the most assets, but it also has the most exposure. The best thing for the new CEO to do, in my opinion, is to maintain a lower public profile and to work hard at building up the company from the inside instead of swallowing up other firms.
