  After playing for the Florida State Seminoles, Boldin was selected as the 54th overall pick in the 2003 NFL draft. As a rookie. Anquan Boldin was selected to the 2004 Pro Bowl after a year when he attained 101 receptions for 1,377 yards and eight touchdowns. He has set records for most receiving yards in a first game by a rookie with 217. However, due to injury, he was only able to play 10 of the 16 games in the 2004 season. During his last full sixteen game season, in 2006, Boldin had 83 receptions for 1,203 yards and 4 touchdowns.
