  • Anonymous is a loosely connected group of Internet users who participate in a variety of activities. Considered a Meme, this group is responsible for several hacking campaigns sometimes known as "raids". The group received attention recently with their Project Chanology campaign against the Church of Scientology. In March of 2008, Anonymous members were responsible for the hacking of a epilepsy forum. The group added rapidly moving and blinking images to the website in an attempt to induce migraines for users.
