  • Annie Lennox is an Oscar and Grammy winning musician and vocalist who is originally part of the duo Eurythmics with David Stewart, which has sold over 75 million records worldwide. She also has a successful solo career. In 2003 she was chosen to sing for the The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King soundtrack. She sang the song "Into the West", which won her an Academy Award for best new song.
  • Career

    Lennox was once a lead singer in the band The Tourists from 1977 and 1980. This was her first collaboration with Dave Stewart. After leaving The Tourists, Lennox joined the Eurythmics. Euthymics never officially disbanded, but In 1990, she went on to have a solo career which proved to be a big hit. Her first album, Diva was released in 1992. This album reached #1 in UK, #6 in Germany, and #23 in the United States.
