Anne Heche was ordered to pay ex-spouse Coley Laffoon nearly $15,000 a month in child and spousal support. The actress claims she can no longer afford to make the payments. The television series she starred in, Men in Trees, has been cancelled as a result of the strike by the Screen Actors Guild. It was recently announced that it will not be picked up again until next season. It has been rumored that Heche left her husband after becoming involved with Men in Trees co-star James Tupper. A judge ruled on May 14, 2008 that Heche could skip her next support payment, however, she must submit paperwork to prove her lack of finances. Heche claims that she has been unemployed since January 18, 2008.
