Anna Kendrick who is best known for playing Jessica Stanley in the Twilight Saga Series will be walking down the red carpet on March 7th. This well established actress is nominated for best supporting actress for the movie Up In The Air. Anna Plans on making the 82nd Academy Awards a family event. Her mother and brother will be attending the ceremony with her. She is also scheduled to present the Oscar for sound editing and mixing.

Anna Kendrick crossed the red carpet early in the evening wearing an off the shoulder pale pink dress and sharing her dreams of being at the Oscars one day. Before Twilight Anna Kendrick was known for her theater chops. She had a passion for acting at the age of ten. She has been in a variety of theater productions. One of her first roles on Broadway was the role of Dinah in the musical High Society. At the age of 12 Kendrick earned her self a Tony Award nomination. She was the third youngest actress to receive a tony nomination. She made her acting debut in 2003 in the musical comedy Camp. Her next film role was Rocket Science; she was nominated for a 2007 independent spirit award for her portrayal of Ginny Ryerson for that film. Soon after she was given the role of Jessica Stanley from the Twilight Series. She continues to star in many other films such as the Marc Pease Experience, Elsewhere and Up In The Air; all films were released in 2009.

In 2010 she has two more films coming out Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and the Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Anna was born in Portland Maine on August 9, 1985. She has an older brother who is also an actor.
