Anna Faris

American actress Anna Faris has appeared in several films and television shows. She can be seen as "Cindy Campbell" in the Scary Movie franchise.

Faris' engagement to actor Chris Pratt was confirmed by her publicist on January 29, 2009. Her publicist confirmed that the pair got engaged in late 2008, but declined to comment further. Prior to her acting career, Faris graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in literature. After smaller roles in independent films, Faris starred in the 2000 comedic parody film Scary Movie. She continued with the franchise, starring in three additional Scary Movie films, most recently Scary Movie 4 in 2006. Along the way she appeared as a recurring character on the popular television show Friends and alongside Rob Schneider in The Hot Chick. Faris also had smaller parts in the 2003 film Lost in Translation and the 2005 film Brokeback Mountain.
