Anna and the King is an epic movie shot entirely in Thailand. It stars Jodie Foster and Chow Yun-Fat and was directed by Andy Tennant. Based on a true story, a previous iteration is called The King and I, which was a Broadway musical and 1956 film.
Plot Summary
The plot revolves around Anna, a window with a son who goes to what was then called Siam to teach King Mongkut's sons and daughters. In her stay at the king's palace, she becomes involved in his affairs and they find themselves in love with each other.
