• Ann Coulter is a conservative political commentator and author of several best-selling books, including 2007's If Democrats Had Any Brains, They'd Be Republicans.     Coulter faced criticism over comments she made on Donny Deutsch's The Big Idea. After an exchange about Coulter's vision for a perfect America, Deutsch asked Coulter, "It would be better if we were all Christian?" and Coulter responded, "Yes." She went on to say, "We just want Jews to be perfected."

    Coulter was scheduled to appear on the first and fourth hour of NBC's The Today Show on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, to promote her latest book, Guilty: Liberal 'Victims' and Their Assault on America. NBC canceled Coulter's scheduled appearance the night before, explaining that they wanted to devote more air time to news in the Middle East.
