Anime eyes are contact lenses in which the colored part of the lens is wider than a normal iris. This gives the wearer the look of oversized eyes, a hallmark of Japanese manga and anime animation. Some anime eyes are produced in normal colors but many are boldly colored with patterns that mimic well-known anime characters.
