Recurring Jokes
The most prominent features on Animaniacs were cartoons featuring the Warner siblings and Pinky and the Brain sketches. The Warners would typically find a "straight man," often their psychiatrist, and wreak havoc in that persons life for about six minutes. Pinky and the Brain featured two lab rodents, one of whom was particularly clever and plotted to dominate the world. Brain was voiced by Maurice LaMarche, who made the voice eerily similar to that of Orson Welles. In 1995, Pinky and the Brain became a spin-off show of Animaniacs. -
