Animal communication is both a scientific study of the way animals communicate as well as a psychic or telepathic method of communicating with animals. Animals communicators, or whisperers, claim to signal to the animals with motions, words, whispers or thoughts.

To understand what issues animals have, communicators try to perceive the world from the animal's point of view.
