Anil Ambani is an Indian businessman based out of Mumbai, the chairman of Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group. He was ranked as the 34th richest man in the world in 2009 with a fortune of $10.1 billion.
On April 23, 2009, pebbles and gravel were found in the gearbox of Ambani's helicopter, placed their as an apparent attempt to sabotage his flight and assassinate the billionaire. The sabotage attempt was discovered by Bharat Borge, an Air Works technician who was found dead on April 28, 2009, after being ran over by a train.
