Angstro is a web service that will collect and organize business news about any friends or colleagues in a user's social networks. Supported services include LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. The service launched at the TechCrunch50 conference on September 8, 2008.

How It Works
Unlike Google Alerts, which can inform a user whenever a certain term or keyword in mentioned online, Angstro doesn't just aggregate news articles. The service can analyze a user's social media history to determine which individuals are more or less interesting or closely related to them, and then deliver information based on this data. The system can also be useful in differentiating between people who have common names.Angstro: Our Story
